Preschool 3 Overview

The Preschool 3 class provides the introduction to a child's future school experiences. At Messiah Lutheran Preschool we make this experience fun! The children learn social skills such as sharing, following directions, and taking turns. They learn through monthly thematic units which include dramatic play, crafts, finger plays, books, and games.

An alphabet letter, color, shape, number, scripture, prayer, and the flag salute are part of daily circle time. Most importantly, children are taught to "Let their light shine," by participating in weekly chapel and worship time. Christian songs, prayers, scripture memorization, and learning to love one another are all part of our Religion curriculum.

Some highlights of the PS 3 year include participation in the annual school-wide Thanksgiving Program, Christmas Program, and the Teddy Bear Slumber Party.
